Leo lived beside a mysterious forest. Each morning before breakfast, he went there. Tall trees whispered when the wind blew. Their voices sounded like soft music. He loved listening daily.

One day, a loud noise broke the silence. Machines roared and men shouted. Leo ran toward the sound. He saw giant trucks entering forest edge. His heart pounded with fear.

The trees seemed to cry. Their leaves shivered and branches drooped. Leo felt their pain deeply. He knew he must do something. But he was only a small boy.
