There is a big fat cat who lives in a small old house near the park. The cat has soft white fur and big green eyes that shine at night.
هناك قط سمين كبير يعيش في منزل صغير قديم بالقرب من الحديقة. القط لديه فراء أبيض ناعم وعينان خضراوتان كبيرتان تلمعان في الليل.
A very small and quick brown mouse also lives inside the same old house with his family. The mouse loves to eat yellow cheese and bread every day.
فأر بني صغير وسريع جداً يعيش أيضاً داخل نفس المنزل القديم مع عائلته. الفأر يحب أكل الجبن الأصفر والخبز كل يوم.
The fat cat wants to catch the small mouse because he is very hungry all the time. The cat sits and waits near the small hole in the wall for many hours.
القط السمين يريد الإمساك بالفأر الصغير لأنه جائع جداً طوال الوقت. القط يجلس وينتظر بالقرب من الثقب الصغير في الحائط لساعات عديدة.
But the smart little mouse is very careful and does not come out from his safe home. He can see the cat’s long tail from the small hole in the wood.
لكن الفأر الصغير الذكي حذر جداً ولا يخرج من منزله الآمن. يمكنه رؤية ذيل القط الطويل من الثقب الصغير في الخشب.
One sunny morning, the mouse feels very hungry and wants to find good food for his breakfast. He looks left and then right with his two small bright eyes carefully.
في صباح أحد الأيام المشمسة، يشعر الفأر بالجوع الشديد ويريد إيجاد طعام جيد لفطوره. ينظر يساراً ثم يميناً بعينيه الصغيرتين اللامعتين بحذر.
The cat is not there now, so the mouse runs very fast to the kitchen table to eat. He finds a big piece of cake and a cup of cold sweet milk there.
القط ليس هناك الآن، لذا يركض الفأر بسرعة كبيرة إلى طاولة المطبخ ليأكل. يجد قطعة كبيرة من الكعك وكوباً من الحليب البارد الحلو هناك.
The happy mouse eats the nice food and drinks the milk with a big smile on his face. He feels full and wants to go back to his little bed to sleep now.
الفأر السعيد يأكل الطعام اللطيف ويشرب الحليب بابتسامة كبيرة على وجهه. يشعر بالشبع ويريد العودة إلى سريره الصغير لينام الآن.
Suddenly, the big cat jumps from behind the brown door and runs very fast to catch him. The mouse screams and runs away as quick as the strong wind outside today.
فجأة، يقفز القط الكبير من خلف الباب البني ويركض بسرعة كبيرة ليمسك به. يصرخ الفأر ويهرب بعيداً بسرعة الرياح القوية في الخارج اليوم.
The chase is very hard and both animals move all around the chairs and the old sofa. The cat is big and strong, but the small mouse is very fast and clever.
المطاردة صعبة جداً ويتحرك كلا الحيوانين حول الكراسي والأريكة القديمة. القط كبير وقوي، لكن الفأر الصغير سريع جداً وذكي.
The mouse sees his small hole and runs straight to it with all his little power and heart. He goes inside the dark hole just before the cat can touch his long tail.
يرى الفأر ثقبه الصغير ويركض مباشرة إليه بكل قوته الصغيرة وقلبه. يدخل داخل الثقب المظلم قبل أن يتمكن القط من لمس ذيله الطويل.
The cat is very angry because he lost his tasty meal by just one single second again. He sits near the hole and thinks about a new plan to catch the fast mouse soon.
القط غاضب جداً لأنه خسر وجبته اللذيذة بثانية واحدة فقط مرة أخرى. يجلس بالقرب من الثقب ويفكر في خطة جديدة للإمساك بالفأر السريع قريباً.
The clever mouse is safe inside his home and laughs at the silly fat cat outside the wall. He will not go out again today because he knows the cat is still waiting there.
الفأر الذكي آمن داخل منزله ويضحك على القط السمين الأحمق خارج الجدار. لن يخرج مرة أخرى اليوم لأنه يعرف أن القط لا يزال ينتظر هناك.
