A Visit to New York | زيارة إلى نيويورك
My family and I went on a fun trip to New York City last summer. We were all very excited to see the big and famous buildings there.
ذهبت أنا وعائلتي في رحلة ممتعة إلى مدينة نيويورك الصيف الماضي. كنا جميعاً متحمسين جداً لرؤية المباني الكبيرة والمشهورة هناك.
First, we took a yellow taxi from the airport to our hotel. The driver was a friendly man who smiled and talked about the busy streets and tall towers.
أولاً، أخذنا سيارة أجرة صفراء من المطار إلى فندقنا. كان السائق رجلاً ودوداً ابتسم وتحدث عن الشوارع المزدحمة والأبراج العالية.
Our hotel was very tall with a wonderful view of the city lights. From the window, I could see many yellow cars moving slowly on the wide road below us.
كان فندقنا طويلاً جداً بإطلالة رائعة على أضواء المدينة. من النافذة، كان بإمكاني رؤية سيارات صفراء كثيرة تتحرك ببطء على الطريق الواسع تحتنا.
We walked to a very green and large park in the center. I saw people running, riding bikes, and sitting on the soft grass under the warm morning sun.
مشينا إلى حديقة خضراء وكبيرة جداً في المركز. رأيت أشخاصاً يركضون ويركبون الدراجات ويجلسون على العشب الناعم تحت شمس الصباح الدافئة.
My little sister loved watching the small boats on the quiet lake inside the park. She wanted to ride one, but we decided to come back again another day soon.
أختي الصغيرة أحبت مشاهدة القوارب الصغيرة في البحيرة الهادئة داخل الحديقة. أرادت ركوب واحد منها، لكننا قررنا العودة مرة أخرى في يوم آخر قريب.
Next, we visited a huge museum full of old dinosaur bones and beautiful art. I was amazed by the giant skeleton that stood very tall in the big hall with bright lights.
بعد ذلك، زرنا متحفاً ضخماً مليئاً بعظام الديناصورات القديمة والفن الجميل. لقد أذهلني الهيكل العظمي العملاق الذي وقف طويلاً جداً في القاعة الكبيرة ذات الأضواء الساطعة.
For lunch, we ate hot dogs from a small cart on the street. I added ketchup and mustard, and it tasted delicious while we sat on a bench watching people pass by us.
في الغداء، أكلنا نقانق من عربة صغيرة في الشارع. أضفت الكاتشب والخردل، وكان طعمها لذيذاً بينما جلسنا على مقعد نراقب الناس وهم يمرون بجانبنا.
Later, we went to a very famous tall building with an observation deck. We used a fast elevator to go up to the top floor and see the entire city far below.
لاحقاً، ذهبنا إلى مبنى طويل مشهور جداً به منصة مراقبة. استخدمنا مصعداً سريعاً لنصعد إلى الطابق العلوي ونرى المدينة بأكملها بعيدة في الأسفل.
The view from the top was incredible. All the buildings looked so small like toys, and the river sparkled like silver under the bright blue sky with white clouds.

At night, we walked around a bright area with many big screens and lights. There were singers, dancers, and many shops selling clothes, hats, and sweet colorful candy on every corner.
في الليل، تجولنا في منطقة مضيئة بها شاشات كبيرة وأضواء كثيرة. كان هناك مغنون وراقصون ومتاجر كثيرة تبيع الملابس والقبعات والحلوى الملونة الحلوة في كل زاوية.
We saw a long and famous bridge that connects two parts of the city. It was very strong and beautiful with many lights shining on the dark water during the quiet evening hours.
رأينا جسراً طويلاً ومشهوراً يربط بين جزأين من المدينة. كان قوياً جداً وجميلاً مع أضواء كثيرة تتلألأ على المياه المظلمة خلال ساعات المساء الهادئة.
On our last day, we bought small gifts for our friends back home. I got a keychain with a yellow taxi, and my mom bought a soft blue shirt with the city's name printed on it.
في يومنا الأخير، اشترينا هدايا صغيرة لأصدقائنا في الوطن. حصلت على سلسلة مفاتيح عليها سيارة أجرة صفراء، واشترت أمي قميصاً أزرق ناعماً مطبوعاً عليه اسم المدينة.
We felt tired but extremely happy on the flight home. The trip to New York was a wonderful adventure, and we promised to visit this amazing and lively city again in the future.
شعرنا بالتعب ولكن بسعادة غامرة على متن رحلة العودة. كانت الرحلة إلى نيويورك مغامرة رائعة، ووعدنا بزيارة هذه المدينة المدهشة والمليئة بالحياة مرة أخرى في المستقبل.
