The Naughty Boy | الولد المشاغب
There was a little boy named Sam. He lived in a small house with his mother and his father. Sam was very smart but he was also very naughty. He loved to play tricks and make a big mess every single day. His parents felt tired but they loved him.
كان هناك ولد صغير اسمه سام. عاش في منزل صغير مع أمه وأبيه. كان سام ذكياً جداً لكنه كان مشاغباً جداً أيضاً. كان يحب أن يلعب الحيل ويحدث فوضى كبيرة كل يوم. شعر والداه بالتعب لكنهما أحباه.
One sunny morning, Sam woke up and he had a funny idea. He took his mother's soft red hat and hid it under the big brown sofa. His mother looked everywhere but she could not find her beautiful hat. She felt so confused and sad.
في صباح مشمس، استيقظ سام وكان لديه فكرة مضحكة. أخذ قبعة أمه الناعمة الحمراء وأخفاها تحت الأريكة البنية الكبيرة. بحثت أمه في كل مكان لكنها لم تستطع إيجاد قبعتها الجميلة. شعرت بالحيرة والحزن الشديد.
Later, Sam went to the kitchen. He saw a cold glass of milk on the table. He pushed the glass with his hand and the white milk spilled all over the clean floor. Sam just laughed loudly and then ran away fast. His father was not happy at all.
لاحقاً، ذهب سام إلى المطبخ. رأى كوباً بارداً من الحليب على الطاولة. دفع الكوب بيده وانسكب الحليب الأبيض على الأرض النظيفة بالكامل. ضحك سام بصوت عالٍ ثم هرب بسرعة. لم يكن والده سعيداً على الإطلاق.
In the garden, his father grew many yellow flowers. Sam wanted to help but he did a bad thing. He pulled all the pretty flowers from the ground and threw them into the street. His father saw the empty garden and he felt very angry.
في الحديقة، زرع والده العديد من الأزهار الصفراء. أراد سام المساعدة لكنه فعل شيئاً سيئاً. أخرج كل الأزهار الجميلة من الأرض وألقاها في الشارع. رأى والده الحديقة الفارغة وشعر بالغضب الشديد.
Sam had a small dog named Max. Max had a long tail and white fur. Sam tied a noisy bell to the dog's tail. Poor Max ran around the house and he felt very scared of the loud noise. Sam sat on the chair and clapped his hands.
كان لدى سام كلب صغير اسمه ماكس. كان لماكس ذيل طويل وفرو أبيض. ربط سام جرساً مزعجاً بذيل الكلب. ركض ماكس المسكين حول المنزل وشعر بالخوف الشديد من الصوت العالي. جلس سام على الكرسي وصفق بيديه.
His mother came into the room and saw the scared dog. She took the bell off the tail gently. She looked at Sam with sad eyes and said words in a quiet voice. Sam did not look at her face. He just looked down at his own shoes.
جاءت أمه إلى الغرفة ورأت الكلب الخائف. أزالت الجرس عن الذيل بلطف. نظرت إلى سام بعيون حزينة وقالت كلمات بصوت هادئ. لم ينظر سام إلى وجهها. اكتفى بالنظر إلى الأسفل نحو حذائه.
The next day, Sam went to school with his bag. He took the teacher's chalk and drew a funny face on the wall. All the children laughed but the teacher was very upset. She told Sam to stand in the corner of the class for a long time.
في اليوم التالي، ذهب سام إلى المدرسة بحقيبته. أخذ طبشورة المعلم ورسم وجهاً مضحكاً على الحائط. ضحك كل الأطفال لكن المعلمة كانت مستاءة جداً. طلبت من سام أن يقف في زاوية الصف لوقت طويل.
During lunch, Sam sat under a tall tree. He saw a small ant carrying bread. Sam put a big rock to block the ant's way. The ant tried to climb over the rock again and again. Sam watched and thought this game was a great fun.
أثناء الغداء، جلس سام تحت شجرة طويلة. رأى نملة صغيرة تحمل خبزاً. وضع سام صخرة كبيرة ليسد طريق النملة. حاولت النملة التسلق فوق الصخرة مراراً وتكراراً. شاهد سام واعتقد أن هذه اللعبة ممتعة جداً.
A kind girl from his class walked by. Her name was Laila. She saw the ant and the rock. She moved the rock away quickly. The ant happily carried the bread and went home. Laila looked at Sam and shook her head slowly. Sam felt a strange feeling.
مرت بجانبه فتاة لطيفة من صفه. كان اسمها ليلى. رأت النملة والصخرة. أزاحت الصخرة بعيداً بسرعة. حملت النملة الخبز بسعادة وذهبت إلى المنزل. نظرت ليلى إلى سام وهزت رأسها ببطء. شعر سام بشعور غريب.
After school, Sam walked home alone. He saw an old man trying to cross the busy road. The man had a heavy bag in his tired hands. Sam did not laugh or play a trick. He held the man's arm and helped him cross the road safely.
بعد المدرسة، مشى سام إلى المنزل وحده. رأى رجلاً عجوزاً يحاول عبور الطريق المزدحم. كان الرجل يحمل حقيبة ثقيلة في يديه المتعبتين. لم يضحك سام أو يلعب حيلة. أمسك بذراع الرجل وساعده على عبور الطريق بأمان.
The old man smiled and said warmly, you are a very good boy thank you so much. Sam felt a warm feeling inside his heart. This feeling was new and very nice. He liked this feeling much more than the feeling of playing naughty tricks.
ابتسم الرجل العجوز وقال بحرارة، أنت ولد طيب جداً شكراً جزيلاً لك. شعر سام بشعور دافئ داخل قلبه. كان هذا الشعور جديداً ولطيفاً جداً. أحب هذا الشعور أكثر بكثير من شعور لعب الحيل المشاغبة.
Sam reached his house and opened the door. He went straight to his mother and gave her a big hug. He said I am sorry for hiding your red hat. Then he ran to his father and promised to plant new yellow flowers tomorrow in the garden.
وصل سام إلى منزله وفتح الباب. ذهب مباشرة إلى أمه وأعطاها عناقاً كبيراً. قال أنا آسف لإخفاء قبعتي الحمراء. ثم ركض إلى والده ووعده بزراعة أزهار صفراء جديدة غداً في الحديقة.
Sam found Max the dog sleeping on the rug. He sat down and stroked the dog's soft fur very gently. He gave Max a tasty bone and a bowl of fresh water. Max wagged his tail happily. The house felt quiet and peaceful again for everyone.
وجد سام الكلب ماكس نائماً على السجادة. جلس وربت على فرو الكلب الناعم بلطف شديد. أعطى ماكس عظمة لذيذة ووعاء من الماء العذب. هز ماكس ذيله بسعادة. شعر المنزل بالهدوء والسلام مجدداً للجميع.
The next day at school, Sam saw Laila searching for her pencil case. Sam found it behind the book shelf. He picked it up and gave it back to her with a bright smile. Laila was surprised and gave him a happy smile in return.
في اليوم التالي في المدرسة، رأى سام ليلى تبحث عن مقلمتها. وجدها سام خلف رف الكتب. التقطها وأعادها إليها بابتسامة مشرقة. تفاجأت ليلى وأعطته ابتسامة سعيدة في المقابل.
Sam learned a very big lesson about kindness and respect. He stopped playing bad tricks and started helping his friends and family every day. Everyone loved the new kind and helpful Sam. He finally understood that being good is the best kind of fun in the world.
تعلم سام درساً كبيراً جداً عن اللطف والاحترام. توقف عن لعب الحيل السيئة وبدأ بمساعدة أصدقائه وعائلته كل يوم. أحب الجميع سام الجديد اللطيف والمساعد. لقد فهم أخيراً أن كون المرء جيداً هو أفضل أنواع المرح في العالم.
