Once upon a time, there was a small, friendly dog. He lived in a big, green forest near a quiet river. Every day, he walked under the tall trees and looked at the blue sky. He loved to run and play with the butterflies and birds. The lion looked at the small dog and said, "Why are you in my forest, little one? This is my land and I am the king here." The dog could not move or speak because he was very scared. The lion walked slowly down from the rock and came closer to the tiny, shaking dog. نظر الأسد إلى الكلب الصغير وقال: "لماذا أنت في غابتي أيها الصغير؟ هذه أرضي وأنا الملك هنا." لم يستطع الكلب التحرك أو الكلام لأنه كان خائفاً جداً. مشى الأسد ببطء من على الصخرة واقترب من الكلب الصغير المرتجف.

At that moment, a clever little rabbit jumped out from behind a big, brown bush. He was very fast and had long ears and a fluffy white tail. The rabbit saw the scared dog and the angry lion. He said, "Oh, great king of the forest, I have very bad news for you today. The lion looked down at the little rabbit and laughed loudly. He thought the rabbit was funny because he was so small. The lion asked, "What news do you have, tiny rabbit? The rabbit pointed with his little paw to the deep, dark part of the forest. He looked very serious and his nose twitched fast. He said, "There is another huge lion near the river. The lion became very angry when he heard these words about another king. His face turned red and his tail hit the ground hard. He forgot all about the little dog and shouted, "Show me this lion now! The rabbit quickly turned and started to hop very fast toward the river. He moved his legs quickly and his white tail went up and down. He called back to the lion, "Follow me, great king! The lion roared at the face in the water with all his power. The face in the water roared back at the same time but made no real sound. This made the lion even more angry and wild.
